Post 290 Independence Day Picnic
This years 4th of July celebration will start at 1200. The event is open to all Post members and their guests. Non-members will be charged a nominal fee.
The Post will be providing hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks. We ask that attendees please bring a covered side dish to feed more than your family. There will be horse shoes, volleyball and games for the kids.
We will have a Flag Retirement Ceremony at 1400 hours. If you have a worn flag, or know of someone with a worn flag, please bring it with you so it may be disposed of properly, with dignity and respect.
This is also the day that we kick off our 2009 membership campaign. Get a jump start on next year and pay your membership dues early. Don’t forget our Post offers some great “Early Bird” rewards.
The picnic is starting a little earlier then usual this year because this is a
Bingo Night and the players would like to have the Bingo game that
evening.
