The American Legion is the Nation’s largest veterans’ organization that represents millions of men and women who have proudly served and continue to serve in this country’s armed forces. The Legion offers camaraderie and assistance to veterans with their battles for benefits and medical care. Rights and benefits granted them by law—law for which the American Legion can accept a major share of credit.
The Stafford American Legion Post 290 is that local link for the Veterans and their dependents of our community. We are located at:

Our monthly general membership meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 1930.
We are also open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening and encourage all veterans to stop by and check us out. Our regular hours of operation are:
Wednesday and Friday 1830 - 2200, Saturday 1400 - 2200,
Sunday 1200 - 1600.
